In recent years, growing attention has been paid to home safety, and slippers, as an essential part of homewear, are no exception. Consumers now seek not only comfort but also safety in the slippers they purchase.
KENROLL slippers are designed with a focus on safety, comfort, and health. To achieve this, KENROLL has developed three core systems: the Ke-rollist Safety System, the Ke-Fitist Comfort System, and the Ke-health Wellness System. Today, we will introduce the Ke-rollist Safety System.
Common Safety Hazards in Slippers
• Slipping Risk: Many slippers lack proper anti-slip features, leading to the risk of falling, particularly on smooth surfaces.
• Insufficient Support: Some slippers fail to provide enough arch or ankle support, potentially causing foot fatigue, sprains, or other musculoskeletal issues.
• Open-toe Design: Exposed toes are more vulnerable to impacts and compression.
• Wear and Tear: Slippers made from certain materials may wear down over time, leading to cracks or damage, increasing the risk of injury.
How Does the Ke-rollist Safety System Address the Slipping Issue?
- Understanding the Anti-slip Technology – Ke-rollist
Ke-rollist is an advanced anti-slip technology used in KENROLL slippers to improve grip and traction. The Ke-rollist slip-resistant plate is crafted from high-quality rubber and employs a three-dimensional liquid film dispersion system to provide comprehensive anti-slip protection. Each pair of slippers includes 2,000 grip contact points, 1,000 multi-directional water-draining grooves, and dozens of asymmetric water-draining units. These large anti-slip patches undergo rigorous testing with 88 types of bath liquids, 26 cooking oils, and 36 different surface simulations, in addition to over 20,000 hours of real-world testing involving a sample range of 40-220 kg. This makes them highly effective in slippery environments, ensuring safety in wet or smooth conditions.
- Certified by SGS
KENROLL summer slippers exceed industry standards in anti-slip performance. In wet tests, the front sole has a dynamic friction coefficient of 0.80, and the rear sole is 0.795, with an average of 0.86:
• Wet test ≥ 0.4 vs. KENROLL wet test = 0.76
• Dry test ≥ 0.5 vs. KENROLL dry test = 0.95
KENROLL winter slippers also perform excellently, with the front sole at 0.90 and the rear at 0.78, averaging 0.87:
• Wet test ≥ 0.4 vs. KENROLL wet test = 0.57
• Dry test ≥ 0.5 vs. KENROLL dry test = 1.17
How Does the Ke-rollist Safety System Address Support Issues?
Proper arch support is essential in slipper design. KENROLL focuses on providing the right level of arch support, which is critical for maintaining a natural walking gait. A well-designed arch can distribute weight evenly, and the EVA material used in KENROLL slippers is lightweight, elastic, and provides excellent cushioning, reducing fatigue and discomfort. The ergonomic arch curve ensures maximum comfort whether you are relaxing at home or on a short trip. By combining soft materials with a strong structure, KENROLL slippers provide stability and ease with every step.
Since everyone’s feet are different, KENROLL offers a variety of arch support options. In 2025, KENROLL will launch a new model (KM268) that provides multiple arch height options to accommodate high arches, normal arches, and flat feet. This personalized arch support helps maintain foot health and prevents discomfort or injuries caused by poorly fitting shoes. Additionally, the slippers feature adjustable designs for an even more customizable fit.
Note: KENROLL winter slippers are designed without arch support for a more natural, lightweight feel, keeping the foot in a relaxed position and reducing any discomfort caused by arch support. This design is ideal for those who prefer a minimalist, free-feeling fit.
How Does the Ke-rollist Safety System Address Toe Protection?
KENROLL’s summer slippers include a built-in toe protection feature: the toe is raised by 15 degrees, and the rear edge is reinforced to protect the toes from impacts. In addition, the outdoor slipper series includes raised sides to prevent tipping.
The K267 outdoor slippers also feature a split-toe design, which helps stabilize the toes and reduce the risk of bunions.
Safety and comfort are the top priorities in modern slipper design. KENROLL slippers not only provide excellent foot comfort but also ensure comprehensive safety. From our unique anti-slip design to impact-resistant materials and personalized arch support, every detail is carefully crafted to enhance your wearing experience. Choose KENROLL slippers for cutting-edge safety features and enjoy a more secure, comfortable lifestyle.
